International Student Enrollment

  Applications for admissions are accepted 4 times annually. To be eligible for admission to the University of Cincinnati's Bachelor of Science in Clinical Laboratory Science program, applicants must meet the following qualifications: Students must have demonstrated a proficiency in the English language by completing the Test of English as Foreign Language (TOEFL) with a minimum computer based score of 187.

Ohio Residents: $262/credit hour
Non-Ohio
Residents:
$272/credit hour
Application Fee: $40

Students in the CLS degree program may qualify for federal financial aid and/or private student loans.

 
  • Hold an AS degree from a NAACLS* accredited CLT/MLT program or equivalent coursework and CLT/MLT certification
  • Complete a UC application
  • Complete a program application
  • Submit official transcripts from all schools attended
  • Have a minimum 2.5 GPA
  • Submit a letter of intent and resume
  • Submit 3 professional letters of reference

  As a University of Cincinnati student, you may be eligible for federal student aid in the form of grants, scholarships, and educational loans. There is no cost to apply for financial assistance, and you may qualify for a student loan regardless of your income.

General eligibility for federal financial aid requires that you meet the following criteria:

  • Accepted as a degree-seeking student
  • Making Satisfactory Academic Progress
  • Be a U.S. citizen, national, or permanent resident alien
  • Enrolled at least half time (8 quarter credits)
  • Not be in default on prior student loans
  • Not owe a repayment or overpayment of a federal grant
