COURSE DELIVERY METHODS
The University of Cincinnati has extensive experience in the design and delivery of online programs. With multiple degree programs, serving hundreds of students, we are pleased to offer the same quality educational experience to our online Bachelor of Science in Clinical Laboratory Science students.
Learn at Home
All course materials are available via the course web site. The course web site will be delivered through a software package called Blackboard (Bb) Academic Suite™. These courses are designed to be user-friendly which will help ease you into the distance learning format. All course information and learning activities will be located in the Bb course site.
Learn Online
Through our course web site, you have access to discussion forums, class e-mail, chats, assignments, exams, and course schedules prepared by your course instructor. You will have the unique opportunity to participate in chat sessions and discussion boards which will help you form relationships with your fellow classmates and program facilitators. All assignments and course schedules can be found on the course web site and can be accessed at any time.
Learn Together
You will be assigned to a small group led by a CLS professional who serves as a facilitator to provide academic guidance and assistance. Fellow students provide invaluable support through interactive learning sessions.
Learn Through Clinical Applications
Typically clinical experiences can be completed in your local community in a variety of settings. If an appropriate clinical site is not available locally, you may need to travel to a site to complete your clinical requirements.
